ADMISSION INFORMATION

Admission for undergraduate programmes (1^st Semester BA & B. Com) for the academic session of 2026-2027 is open at Govt. Aizawl College. Interested candidates may apply through ONLINE MODE only at the link provided below.

The candidate must fill up his/her particulars in the admission portal (link provided below) and pay a processing fee of Rs 300. Candidates seeking admission to more than one department/ subject must apply separately for each department/subject in the admission portal.

Admission Timeline:

• Candidates selected for physical appearance must bring the required admission fee (as prescribed in the prospectus) to complete his/her admission. 

• The selected candidate should complete his/her admission during the specified period. If not, he/she will be regarded as forfeiting his/her seat which will go to the next eligible candidate.

Seat Reservation Policy: Special consideration will be given under the Principal’s discretionary quota to candidates belonging to the following categories:

• OBC, ST, SC, Person with Disabilities (PWDs) as per government reservation policy.

• Candidates from the Adopted Village of the college, i.e., Hmunpui

• 10 candidates each from Mission Veng and Salem Veng localities

• Candidates having extraordinary talent in different fields, viz. sports, music, dance, fashion, literature, performing arts, etc.

• Candidates applying under seat reservation must apply through online mode as well and mention it in their application form.

Refund Policy: Refund of admission fee is possible as per the policy of the Government of Mizoram

Hostel Facilities: Limited hostel seats (for boys & girls) are available at Mualpui campus

Transport Facilities: Four (4) buses ply every working day for the students, along specified routes connecting Mualpui campus with the heart of the city.

Scholarship Offered:

• GAC Merit Scholarship of Rs 10,000 for rank holders and subject toppers in the qualifying HSSLC Examination.

• GAC Scholarship of Rs 5,000 for Meritorious Students.

• Scholarship of Rs 5,000 for Economically Weaker Section (EWS).

• GAC Scholarship and Freeship for outstanding students in co-curricular and extension activities.
