About
The Youth Adventure Club was founded on August 7, 1982. It was registered under the Firms and Societies Registration Act in 1988. It is affiliated to the National Adventure Foundation (N.A.F), New Delhi.
The GAC YAC was the first ever Youth Adventure Club in Mizoram and was found to be such a welcome initiative that many other colleges and communities in Aizawl and other parts of Mizoram subsequently also formed their own clubs. Any student of the college can apply for membership in the Club by paying an enrolment fee of Rs. 30 and an annual fee of Rs. 20.
Aims and Objectives:
· To explore the natural world.
· To have land, air and water based activities.
· To foster a spirit of cooperation among all club members.
· To instill good moral values, leadership qualities, discipline, courage and determination among all club members.
· To build a sense of duty towards the betterment of society.

|Youth Adventure Club (YAC) Club Activity
On February 4, 2025 (Tuesday), the Youth Adventure Club collaborated with the Department of History (6th & 4th Semester) for an Outreach cum Social Work Programme at Trinity Hospital, Silaimual, Aizawl. A total of 92 students and 5 faculty members participated in a cleanliness drive in and around the hospital premises. The programme was carried out as part of the Golden Jubilee celebration programme.
