About

The Ecology Club was formed on September 20, 2018 as an initiative of the Mizoram Pollution Control Board which sponsors the club activities. They elect leaders on an annual basis and are supervised by two faculty members.

Club activities include cleaning the college campus and its surroundings, as well as going out to various places on campaigns to promote awareness against the use of plastics and general preservation of the earth's ecology.

Ecology Club Club Activity

Green GAC Day 2024 was observed at Mualpui Campus on the 5th June. It had originally been planned for the 28th May but was postponed due to Cyclone Remal which had caused havoc all over the state. It was organised by the GAC NSS Cell and Ecology Club.

Pu Lalchhuanthanga, Hon'ble MLA, Aizawl South II A/C was the Chief Guest at a brief function chaired by the Principal and held in the Conference Hall. He later planted a ceremonial sapling. Volunteers consisting of faculty, office staff and students, including NCC cadets, spent the day planting saplings all around the campus and in some department gardens, and fences were also made for the new plants.
