GAC Scholarship

The institution is committed to support and promote higher education opportunities for students from diverse backgrounds. In recognition of the importance of financial aid in facilitating access to quality education, the institution has established a policy framework for the fair and transparent distribution of Institutional Scholarships and Freeships. The GAC Scholarship Committee will enforce this policy.

1. GAC Merit Scholarship

• Objectives: To encourage academic excellence and reward Rank Holders

• Qualifications: Rank holders (Top ten) and subject topper in HSSLC/Equivalent Board Examination for UG courses and Top three in the concerned subject in UG examination for PG course.

• Procedure: The candidate must apply through a prescribed form uploaded in the college website enclosing all necessary documents to be duly submitted to the Principal.

• Amount: Rs.10000 per Individual (to be awarded in the first semester only)

• Source: College Development Fund

2.GAC Scholarship for Meritorious Students Scholarship

• Objectives: To felicitate and promote academic excellence by recognizing outstanding academic achievements.

• Qualifications: Minimum of 9 SGPA in the end semester results up to the 5th Semester for UG and 3rd Semester for PG. The number of awardees will be as per the decision of the Committee.

• Procedure: The candidate must apply through a prescribed form uploaded in the college website, enclosing all necessary documents to be duly submitted to the principal.

• Amount: Rs.5000 per Individual student.

• Source: Contributions from teachers and Retired Teachers.

3. GAC Scholarship for Economically Weaker Section (EWS)

• Objectives: To support economically weaker students to enable them to pursue higher education.

• Qualifications: Economically weaker students.

• Procedure: The applicant must apply through a prescribed application form available on the college website to be duly submitted to the Principal. Fresh application should be submitted for each academic year.

• Selection Criteria:

• Selection will be based on the academic performance, conduct of the students, and the financial condition of the student.

• Scholarships can be availed up to 7 (seven) students in each Academic Year.

• Selection and awarding of scholarship to be done during the Even Semester.

• Amount: Rs 5000 per Individual

• Source: Students' Aid Fund

4. GAC Scholarship for Outstanding Students

• Objectives: To felicitate and promote talents in the field of Co-curricular and extension activities.

• Qualifications: Outstanding talents in various co-curricular and extension activities.

• Procedure: The candidate must apply in each academic year through a prescribed form uploaded on the college website, enclosing all necessary documents to be duly submitted to the principal.

• Amount: To be decided by the principal from time to time.

• Source: Contributions of Teachers.
