Department of Mizo Study Tour 2026

The Department of Mizo, Class of 2026 successfully completed a study tour in Kolkata during June 29 to July 4, 2026. There were 11 female and 18 male students, assisted by faculty member Daniel Vanlaldampuia, making a total of 30 people. They traveled from Sairang to Kolkata by direct train and stayed at Navaprajanma Youth Hostel, Salt Lake Stadium. They hired a bus to go around and visit the places on their itinerary. During this tour, they visited Victoria Memorial, the Zoo, Indian Museum, Science City, Mother’s Wax Museum and Eco Park, and had a very fruitful and enjoyable time. The students who went on this trip were able to travel using money they earned and pooled themselves, which is truly commendable.
