A two-day workshop on Teaching Skills & Micro-Teaching was successfully conducted by the Department of Education on October 13-14, 2025, in Room 405 at the Sikulpuikawn Campus.

The event commenced with an inaugural function chaired by Dr. Francis LR Puia Tlau. The programme featured a welcome speech by Dr. Mary L Renthlei and a keynote address delivered by Dr. J Lalhriatpuii, before concluding with a vote of thanks by Dr. R. Lalthankhumi.

The workshop was led by two esteemed resource persons: Dr. Lalrinfeli Khiangte and Dr. Lalmawiipuii Chawngthu, both Assistant Professors from IASE. A total of 30 students actively participated in the training.

The resource persons delivered comprehensive presentations covering essential teaching skills and learning methodologies. A significant component of the program was the micro-teaching sessions, which focused on a practical, hands-on approach, allowing participants to immediately apply and refine teaching techniques.

This event holds particular significance as it is the first workshop of its kind dedicated to this specific topic at the College. The institution extends its sincere gratitude to the resource persons for dedicating their valuable time, for their thorough preparation, and for delivering an inspiring and enlightening session that benefited both the participating students and the attending faculty.
