Mizo Department Study Tour

On March 12, 2026, VI semester students from the Department of Mizo went on a study tour with their teachers to visit notable cultural sites places around Aizawl. The tour begun by visiting Zokhua, the hub of cultural heritage at Falkawn, followed by a visit to Sibuta Lung, a gravestone memorial, and Kaphleia’s grave, both located at the outskirts of Tachhip. Lalnunzauva and Daniel Vanlaldampuia gave special lectures at these sites. The tour also included Lianphunga Bung at Sateek and Zawlpala Thlan, another stone memorial at Phulpui. The students found it enriching to visit places significant in Mizo history and literature, gaining firsthand insights into their cultural heritage. 57 students and 6 teachers participated in this study tour.
