One Day Sensitization Programme on Drug Abuse Prevention Among College Students

The Government Aizawl College Anti-Drugs Club, in collaboration with the Mizoram Social Defence and Rehabilitation Board, organized a “One Day Sensitization Programme on Drug Abuse Prevention Among College Students” on August 27, 2025 at the Conference Hall, Mualpui campus.

The resource persons were Mr. Lalrindika and Mrs. Vanlalhruaii from the Mizoram Social Defence and Rehabilitation Board. The programme consisted of insightful talks highlighting the harmful effects and consequences of drug abuse. It was attended by two faculty conveners of the Anti-Drugs Club, along with 71 fifth-semester students from the Political Science and English Departments.

The event concluded with light refreshment.
