The Department of Political Science organised a Special Lecture on Indian Foreign Policy on September 16, 2025 at Room No. 204, Commerce Block, Mualpui campus. The resource person for the event was Dr. F. Lalramhluni, Fellow, Post Doctoral Research (2025), Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MOFA), Taiwan, Soochow University, Taipei. The topic of discussion was "India’s Foreign Policy initiatives under the NDA Government: A Focus on Regional Development vis-a-vis Act East Policy". In attendance were 123 students from third and fifth semesters and 3 faculty members.

The programme was an inspiring experience for both students and faculty members alike. Dr. F. Lalramhluni, the distinguished guest speaker, delivered an enlightening discourse on the conceptual underpinnings, objectives, and implementation strategies of India's Act East Policy, particularly contextualized within the tenure of the NDA Government at the Centre.
