In continuation of the ongoing Golden Jubilee Celebration, Govt. Aizawl College has maintained a steadfast commitment to philanthropic endeavours all throughout the present and previous years. The College’s multifaceted approach to philanthropy has encompassed a wide range of activities from cleanliness drives to outreach programmes that support marginalised sections of society.

To sustain the momentum and expand its philanthropic avenue by broadening the outreach programme, the ‘GAC GIVES BACK’ programme was organised on the morning of August 23, 2025. Dr. Lalmalsawma Khiangte, Convener and Dr.Lalsangzuala Khiangte, Vice Principal delivered welcome addresses and Mrs. Vanlalsawmi, former faculty member, Education Department, provided refreshments for the organisers.

The overwhelming response and participation served as a testament to the institution’s commitment to social responsibility, as the selfless efforts of past and present faculty members and students successfully bridged the gap between the College and countless individuals, embodying the true spirit of the Mizo custom of 'luang chhuak’, that is, to give back with no expectation of reciprocity.

The initiative was remarkable as it also instilled the values of empathy, sense of civic engagement, a culture of compassion and community service. The programme earned a reputation as a beacon of hope, as the College continues to celebrate its Golden Jubilee year with purpose and passion.
