MoU for Skill Enhancement Courses Signed

On July 8, 2025, 1:30 pm, for the third time since introducing the Skill Enhancement Courses, signing ceremony of Memorandum of Understanding with skill providers was held at Government Aizawl College. Skill Enhancement Courses (SEC) form an integral part of the National Education Policy 2020, which has been adopted by Mizoram University as well as institutions affiliated under it. The function, held at Conference Hall, Mualpui Campus, was chaired by Mark V. Vanlalrema, Institutional Coordinator of SEC, GAC. On behalf of the College, the Principal, Lalbiakzuala signed the documents with each of the skill providers. He also encouraged them providers to work earnestly in their respective courses during the period of the MoU, i.e, the 2025-2026 academic year, during which the teaching and evaluation of the seven (7) identified skill courses are outsourced to them (See table below).

Each skill course, a 2-Credit component in the 3rd semester, under the supervision of course-in-charges appointed by the institution, will be taught to students, 3 times a week until the time of their end-semester examination.
