Alumni Week Observed: Sociology Department

The Department of Sociology held an alumni event titled ‘An Interaction with Reuben Lalzawmliana’ on October 8, 2024. The programme was divided into two sessions. The first part of the session witnessed an inspiring motivational speech delivered by the resource person where he shared how he overcame hardships. The second session witnessed the felicitation of Sociology rank holders from the previous years. Reuben was the gold medalist in the 2011 MZU-UG Examination. He held the posts of Assistant General Secretary, GAC Students Union 2010 and Vice President, GAC Students Union 2011.
The programme was attended by 6 faculty members and all 1st, 3rd and 5th Semester students of the Department of Sociology.
